The Rebirth
My question to you is what do you want to give birth to?
So many things happen along this journey called life and we forget who we are, lose our vision and forget our purpose...
Some have never had the time or opportunity to discover who they are and what they really want.
I challenge you this season to give birth to new ideas, new visions, and new purpose. Or rebirth the dreams that made you gleam with joy.
To get started on your new quest, below is a list of new things for the new spring in you:
- Spend more time in prayer
- Find a new hobby, i.e. learn a new language
- Learn a new skill, i.e. computers, event-planning, catering
- Find a new exercise class, i.e. African dance or Latin dance
- Spend time with underprivileged children
- Rethink old relationships to determine if they should stay or go
- Clean out your home and have a garage sale, then take the money and buy something you like or start a saving account for your kids
- Go to the spa and get a whole make-over. (I love this one, yeah!)
- Take yourself out to eat and a movie
Another spring cleaning tip would be to talk with a counselor about some of the issues you feel are stopping you from accomplishing all your dreams. Sometimes are past can hinder our future. Sometimes relationships can be a hindrance. Really rethink your relationships. Is the relationship building you up or tearing you down? If it is the latter, time to do some relationship spring cleaning. Get all the negative clutter and conversation out of your life. The negative thinking and speaking...
Here is a nice spring cleaning smoothie recipe:
Banana-Strawberry Rush
3 cups of o.j.
2 cups of strawberries
1 peeled banana
1 cup of ice
Directions: Combine all ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth. You can omit the o.j. and place in pineapple or mango. Enjoy!
I look forward to serving you all...
